Hormex Rooting Powder No. 1 – For Easy To Root Plants

Hormex Rooting Powdered rooting compound is economical and effective. The fastest way to start new plants from cuttings. Encourages quick root development for faster and healthier growth of new roots from cuttings.

Grows new African violets, roses, poinsettias, geraniums and most other popular home, garden and greenhouse varieties.

How to use:

• Snip a 3″-6″ cutting of a healthy plant. Lightly moisten cut end with clean water.
• Dip about 1″ of the base in Hormex Rooting Powder. Gently tap off excessive powder.
• Plant in pre-moistened grow medium.

For best results, place planted cuttings in an environment with high humidity. Do not let cuttings dry out. Be sure to mist regularly and maintain proper temperature and lighting.

Tips for successful cloning:

• Water your mother plant with Hormex Vitamin B1 & Hormone Concentrate and NO fertilizer a few days prior.
• Only take cuttings from newer growth of a healthy mother plant – preferably not during bloom stage.
• Never take cuttings from a sick or dying plant.
• Take a small amount of Hormex Rooting Powder out of the jar for dipping cuttings. Don’t contaminate the jar by dipping the cuttings into it or by placing used powder back into the jar.
• Use a clean razor blade or bypass shears for taking cuttings as scissors tend to crush the branch.
