The AgroMax Hypar Vertical 315w CMH grow light is the next level in efficiency. Featuring the coveted 315w CMH lamp that is not only highly efficient but holds its lumens for a long time, making this system very cost-effective to run.
High-Efficiency Reflector
The Armour is an excellent choice for a 3’x3’ space. The square vertical reflector directs the light directly down to the canopy. Utilizing non-peblized panels in the reflector eliminates any light from getting trapped in the reflector. By trapped we mean the light will hit angles so that it is bounced off the reflector more than 1 time. With a mirror-like finish and a vertical lamp, the amount this will happen is minimized meaning a more direct route to the plant. Light dissipates over distance, therefore, the shortest path will decrease the amount of light lost.
While efficiency is important, spread is a key factor to a quality grow light. The Armour 315w CMH Light has an extremely even spread when ran in a 3’x3’ area. Perfect for a grow tent!
Low-Frequency Square Wave Ballast
The CMH and LEC grow lights are very popular due to the low-frequency square wave technology that is allowing for such high efficiency. The Armour features a ballast with an extreme soft-start technology that helps to promote long bulb life. The fixture will take a couple of minutes to reach full brightness to allow the bulb to heat up as it powers up. This technology increases the already long life for the CMH bulb enabling growers to change bulbs once every 2 years instead of 1 a year.
