CES Cal-Mag Amplified
Cutting Edge Solutions Cal-Mag Amplified™ is a liquid plant nutrient that supplies and extra dose of calcium and magnesium to help maximize the cation exchange capacity of nutrient solutions. Calcium/magnesium boosters such as Amplified are especially beneficial for those growing in coco coir as it may sometimes draw these minerals out of the solution. Adding the extra Ca/Mg back into your solution with Cal-Mag amplified will help to prevent associated deficiencies and ensure healthy growth. Guaranteed Analysis:
- 3.5% Calcium
- 1.2% Magnesium
- 2.0% Nitrogen
- 0.1% Iron
Cal-Mag Amplified – Complexed Calcium & Magnesium Supplement
Cal-Mag Amplified is an ideal choice for supplementing your native soil with pure, rapidly absorbable forms of calcium and magnesium. For farmers looking for independent ratio control of calcium to magnesium, our Plant Amp & Mag-Amped are an excellent choice.
Coco coir growers will greatly benefit from the use of Cal-Mag Amplified by providing additional calcium to buffer the coco and maximize cation exchange capacity. Higher levels of magnesium are necessary for some plant varieties and heirlooms that originate from equatorial regions. The additional source of magnesium in Cal-Mag Amplified will drive chlorophyll production and maximize photosynthesis. Plants fortified with calcium and magnesium exhibit lush green leaves and reward the farmer with heavy fruits.
Foliar application is also highly recommended as a way to provide the plants with direct sources of calcium to fortify cell walls through the apolplast pathway, freeing mobile calcium to be used for fruit set. Spray when the sun is first rising or setting for the night to ensure stomata are fully dilated.
Directions for Use:
This is a highly concentrated solution. Never mix undiluted concentrates, as this may result in nutrient lock-up. Add each nutrient consecutively, allowing ample time for each concentrate used to thoroughly dilute and mix into the water. If preparing a nutrient stock tank, to be used over a period of time exceeding 24 hours, you must aerate the nutrient reservoir regularly.
- Shake well and measure carefully using a milliliter measuring cup. If using Micro 6-0-0™, add Micro 6-0-0™ first to water, then other nutrients.
- After nutrients are mixed in water, adjust pH to 4.5-6.5. If your pH naturally falls within these parameters, pH adjustment is not necessary.
- Monitor ppm and EC in the reservoir and top off with fresh water as needed.
- Reservoir temperature should be 60-68 degrees F.
