OHP's Ancora uses a naturally occurring fungus to control insect or mite pests that may infest your garden. Ancora, or Isaria fumosorosea Apopka Strain 97, is an organism native to the United States that contains blastospores. When coming in contact, these blastospores germinate and penetrate the insect causing infection and killing the insect within several days. Ancora is safe to use on vegetables, fruits, or ornamental plants and targets both foliage and soli-dwelling insects.

OHP Ancora Microbial Insecticide
Ancora contains a naturally occurring fungus that infects both foliage and soil insect pests. Ancora is compatible with beneficial arthropods and is labeled for use on herbs, vegetables, and ornamentals. Ancora has a four-hour REI and can be used in organic production.
Labeled for use on:
May be used for mite management on commercial ornamental plants in greenhouses, saran and shade houses, outdoor containers, and field-grown nursery stock.
- Insects controlled: (Foliar Spray): Whiteflies, aphids, thrips, spider mites, leafminers (Liriomyza spp.), citrus leafminers, mealybugs, psyllids, and plant bugs.
- Insects controlled: (Drench): Black vine weevil, other root weevils, thrips, pupae, grape phylloxera, rootworms, wireworms, grubs, and lepidoptera caterpillars.
